Vectorworks has corporate experience with many unique military applications and projects. VM has recruited the best of the design and production team that transferred the technology for large minehunter lamination and shock proof systems designs to the U.S. Navy on the MHC-51 Osprey Class of Coastal Minehunters. Vectorworks provided tooling for the Very Long Slender Craft (VLSC) prototype, and accurate tooling and trimming for the sonar dome prototype for the Virginia Class Submarine. We also designed, tooled, fabricated and tested the U.S. Navy Advanced Propulsion Technology Demonstrator high-speed assault craft.
Owing to our experience with military design requirements and constraints, we are available to assist in militarizing or commercializing marine products.
