In order to provide our customers with the latest in design and new technology VM has created a number of strategic alliances with leading design and research firms and is a licensed design and manufacturing center for certain patented technologies, including PowerVent™ propulsion systems and Sea Coaster™ SES type hull designs. VM is constantly seeking out new technologies and new designers to work with who have new creative ideas on one hand and proven capabilities on the other. VM prides itself in being able to bring these people and companies together complimented by VM's own engineering talent familiar with manufacturing processes, producibility, quality, testing and product maintenance issues to provide the ultimate in service and products for its customers.
Our professional engineers have practical engineering and design experience based on lessons learned from custom yacht construction, production boat building and prototyping. Our prototyping capabilities include testing and evaluation, in addition to concept and detail design and supporting documentation. We have the design experience in meeting classification society rules (including ABS, ABYC, DnV, Lloyds, and Mil-Spec). As a licensed PowerVent™ technology center, our trained engineers are capable of hull modifications, propulsion train engineering design and benchmark testing.
